Editing the HUD

Customise the HUD in-game via the settings panel

Most configuration is done in-game, via the HUD settings. By default, this is opened with the /settings command. You can change this command in the config via Config.OpenSettingsCommand.

The settings panel should be fairly intuitive. Click the options on the left to adjust different parts of the HUD. The necessary parts of the HUD will show if hidden, so you can edit them.

You can change the layout by clicking the button that's always in the top right of the settings panel.

By default, players can change the HUD for just their eyes. If you want to enforce a custom HUD layout & setup for all your players, see Default Settings.

Glass effect

Players can enable Glass Effect from the General tab. This blurs the game behind transparent HUD elements and the vehicle controls menu. It doesn't affect the minimap, server logo or settings panel.

The effect follows the player's performance mode. Higher modes refresh the blurred view more often and use more GPU resources. The game view stops rendering when the HUD is hidden, the effect is disabled or no transparent HUD elements are visible.
